Description
This is an add-on for the DIY Pedal Tower.
When your output cable is removed, the tower will route the signal to this PCB to be played over the speaker.
Keep in mind it's a tiny speaker, and won't win any sound quality awards. This is simply for testing and prototyping your DIY pedals, to avoid the hassle of messing with instrument cables and hooking up to a real amp.
It's based on the Ruby amp using the LM386 chip. It uses a JFET for the input buffer, which may be a pre-soldered surface mount device. Depending on availability, it may instead include a through-hole JFET for you to solder along with the rest of the kit parts.
Includes everything you need to add this to your DIY Pedal Tower:
- PCB
- all the parts necessary to build this kit (surface mount devices, if required, will be pre-soldered)
- Stackable header to connect to adjacent layers
- four 12mm standoffs
